AFE Power has recently introduced Stage-2 intake system for the 2014+ Jeep Cherokee V6-3.0L EcoDiesel. This cold air intake system resulted in 5 horsepower, 16 lbs. x ft. torque max gain and outflowed the factory intake by 30%. Included in this cold air intake system, is a 16 gauge powder-coated heat shield and a huge 5 3/8" tall AFE Power PRO 5R or PRO DRY S filter.. A one-piece mandrel-bent wrinkle-black powder-coated intake tube maximizes air velocity providing maximum performance and throttle response. This is a direct bolt-on kit and requires no cutting or drilling of OEM parts.

PRO DRY filter features 3-layers of progressive media to provide maximum flow with excellent filtration. The progressive layering of media allows the filter to flow at high levels even when dirty. The Pro DRY S non-oiled synthetic air filter requires no oils for cleaning for maximum convenience. PRO 5R Media filter features 5-layers of progressive, oiled media to provide maximum flow with excellent filtration. The Pro 5R filter media has been tested at 98.6% efficient. Large 9" x 6-1/2" diameter x 5-3/8" Tall Filter with a 3-1/4" flange opening provides 28% greater airflow over stock intake system. This washable/reuseable 5-layer progressively finer mesh cotton gauze oiled media air filter provides maximum airflow for increased horsepower and torque. The air filter is housed in a one-piece, black powder-coated 16-gauge heat shield that keeps warm engine air out for maximum performance. The heat shield snaps onto the top of the lower half of the factory air box to provide direct airflow to the filter. AFE has developed this intake to provide a hassle-free installation that utilizes all factory mounting locations.
