The new AFE cold air intake system produced 17 max horsepower, 17lbs. x ft. torque and out-flowed the factory intake by 40%. Included in this cold air intake system kit is a 16 gauge powder-coated heat shield, a massive 8" tall, oiled AFE Power Pro 5R filter, and a CAD designed, rotomolded intake tube. This is a direct bolt-on kit and requires no cutting or drilling. A large rotomolded intake tube is used to smoothly direct the increased air flow into the engine for maximum performance. A silicone throttle body adaptor is included for a durable connection and seal over the life of the intake system. A massive 8" air filter is used for maximum flow and performance filtration (98.6% efficient). The PRO 5R performance air filter features 5-layers of progressively finer mesh cotton gauze media and is constructed with 100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles. Included in this kit is a stainless steel T-bolt clamp to insure a tight and secure installation.
