Construction & Design:

The PowerStep is engineered with premium materials to withstand the rigors of off-road use and harsh weather conditions. Its core structure features high-strength die-cast aluminum alloy, treated with an anodized and PTFE-coated military-spec finish that resists corrosion and wear. This ensures the running board maintains its sleek black appearance and structural integrity over time.

Self-lubricating bushings eliminate the need for regular maintenance, while stainless steel pivot pins provide rock-solid stability and smooth deployment. The integrated LED lighting is seamlessly embedded into the low-profile step, enhancing both style and functionality without detracting from the Jeep’s rugged look.

Installation of the AMP Research PowerStep is straightforward and requires no drilling or permanent modifications to your Jeep Wrangler JL. The system mounts securely using existing factory holes and hardware, making it a clean and reversible upgrade. This ensures your vehicle’s warranty remains intact and the installation process is hassle-free.

The PowerStep is compatible with a broad range of 2018–2024 Jeep Wrangler JL 4-Door models, including Rubicon, Sport, Sahara, Willys, and special editions such as the 80th Anniversary and High Altitude trims.
