Construction & Design

Yukon Gear & Axle employs cutting-edge engineering and manufacturing techniques to produce gear sets that withstand extreme conditions. The gears are crafted from premium-grade alloy steel, then subjected to a proprietary heat-treating process that enhances core hardness and surface durability. This combination ensures resistance to wear, chipping, and fatigue under heavy loads.

The precision CNC machining guarantees a perfect tooth profile and smooth gear engagement, which minimizes vibration and noise while maximizing drivetrain efficiency. The final surface finish reduces friction, contributing to cooler operation and longer service life.

This gear set is designed as a direct fit replacement for the rear axle of Jeep Wrangler JK models from 2007 to 2018 equipped with 3.6L V6, 3.8L V6, or 2.0L Turbo engines. Installation requires professional gear setup and proper torque specifications to ensure optimal performance and longevity. It is recommended to have the installation performed by a qualified technician familiar with ring and pinion gear replacement to maintain factory reliability and safety standards.
