Overview:
The Manley Performance Platinum Series Pistons are precision-engineered components designed specifically for the Chrysler HEMI 6.4L engine with a 4.100-inch bore and 1.120-inch compression dome. These forged pistons feature a -5.0cc dish volume, making them ideal for builders seeking to optimize combustion chamber characteristics for enhanced performance and durability.
Engine builders and performance enthusiasts who demand reliability and strength in high-output applications will appreciate the advanced materials and design incorporated into these pistons. Whether you are assembling a street, strip, or race engine, these pistons provide a solid foundation for power and longevity.
With Manley’s reputation for quality and innovation, you’ll get pistons that withstand the rigors of boosted, nitrous, or naturally aspirated builds while maintaining tight tolerances and consistent performance.
Key Features:
Manley’s Platinum Series Pistons combine advanced metallurgy and proven design features to deliver superior performance and durability:
Construction & Design:
The Platinum Series Pistons are crafted from 2618 aluminum alloy, known for its superior strength and ability to withstand high combustion temperatures and pressures. This alloy choice is favored by professional engine builders for its durability in demanding environments.
Manley’s attention to detail is evident in the skirt design, which incorporates cam and barrel profiles to minimize friction and wear, extending piston life and improving efficiency. The inclusion of moly coatings on the skirts further reduces friction, aiding in smoother piston movement and reducing the risk of scuffing during initial engine break-in.
Tool steel wrist pins provide a robust connection between the piston and connecting rod, ensuring reliable performance even under extreme loads. The -5.0cc dish design helps optimize the combustion chamber shape, supporting efficient combustion and power delivery.
Installation & Fitment:
These pistons are designed as direct replacements for Chrysler HEMI 6.4L engines with a 4.100-inch bore and 1.120-inch compression dome. They fit precisely within the specified bore size and are engineered to work seamlessly with compatible rods and rings.
Installation should be performed by experienced engine builders or technicians familiar with forged piston assemblies. Proper ring end gap and clearance checks are recommended to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
What's Included:
Ideal For:
Manley Performance manufactures high-strength engine internals for serious builds—especially forged pistons, connecting rods, valves, and valvetrain components developed for racing and high-output street applications. If you’re building for boost, high compression, or sustained RPM, Manley is a common choice for parts engineered to take abuse and keep power reliable.
ETA stands for Estimated Time of Arrival. The date shown is calculated using our Available-to-Promise (ATP) system, which tracks real-time supplier commitments to determine when a product is expected to be available for delivery. Specifically, the date is calculated by adding 9 business days from the date a supplier has committed to ship the product, representing a worst-case scenario for when we can expect to receive inventory.
Please note: The ETA is an estimate, not a guarantee. While we work closely with our suppliers to keep dates as accurate as possible, delays due to shipping carriers, weather, customs, or supplier-side issues may occasionally push the actual arrival beyond the date shown. Likewise, inventory may arrive sooner than the ETA in many cases. If you would like to be notified for when this item arrives, sign up for our back in stock notifications!
