Construction & Design

The Guardian Comfort Tailgate Mat is constructed using a dual-layer "sandwich" design that combines a thick, heavy-duty polypropylene outer layer with a laminated polypropylene foam backing. This unique construction delivers superior durability while remaining lightweight and flexible. The outer layer’s tough, weatherproof material resists abrasion, moisture, and chemical exposure, ensuring long-lasting protection against the elements and everyday wear.

The carpet-like texture of the surface adds a premium feel, cushioning cargo and providing comfort when kneeling on the tailgate. The mat’s precise fit and tailored edges create a seamless appearance that complements the Dodge Ram’s rugged styling.

Installation & Fitment

Installation is straightforward and requires no modifications to your truck. The mat is designed to fit perfectly on the tailgate of Dodge Ram 1500, 2500, and 3500 models from 2002 through 2026, including Classic versions. Simply lay the mat onto the tailgate surface for an instant upgrade in protection and comfort.
