No special modifications or machining are required for installation.

Note that these lifters are not compatible with Multi-Displacement Systems (MDS). The additional 0.05" height on the lifter body ensures proper engagement in lifter trays and allows for increased lobe lift compared to stock lifters, optimizing valve train performance.
