This camshaft is designed to work in harmony with upgraded valve springs and lifters, accommodating the higher valve lift and extended RPM range. The inclusion of a VVT limiter ensures precise variable valve timing control, maximizing the camshaft’s potential while protecting engine components.
Performance & Sound
Expect a substantial performance upgrade with the Truck Norris Camshaft, including a peak gain of approximately 490 horsepower at the crank on a properly equipped 5.7L HEMI. Dyno testing shows power gains beginning at 2000 RPM and continuing strongly up to 7000 RPM, with a notable increase of 71 horsepower and 62 lb/ft torque at 6000 RPM. The camshaft’s aggressive profile delivers a distinctive, throaty rumble that enhances the driving experience without compromising daily comfort.
Installation & Fitment:
