Overview:

The ICON 2.5 Series Front Shocks Pair is engineered specifically for Ram 3500 (2013–2022) and Ram 2500 (2014–2022) trucks, delivering exceptional off-road capability combined with a smooth, controlled ride on pavement. These vehicle-specific shocks are precision-tuned in both length and damping to perfectly match the suspension characteristics of your Ram, enhancing handling, comfort, and durability. Ideal for enthusiasts who demand superior performance in rugged terrain without sacrificing daily drivability.

Built with rebuildability and revalvability in mind, ICON’s 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks offer long-term serviceability and customization, allowing you to fine-tune your suspension as your driving needs evolve.

Key Features:

Designed to provide unmatched control and ride quality, the ICON 2.5 Series Front Shocks incorporate advanced technology and premium materials:

• Vehicle-specific valving and length for optimized performance on Ram 2500 and 3500 models
• 6061 billet aluminum manifold creating an internal “Bump Zone” that increases damping force by 20% to prevent harsh bottom-outs
• Externally adjustable ICON CDC Valve offering 10 levels of compression damping adjustment for precise tuning
• Remote reservoir design for improved heat dissipation and reduced shock fade during extended use
• One-piece impact extruded aluminum cylinders for superior corrosion resistance and consistent finish
• 7/8” diameter induction hardened, chrome-plated shock shaft for enhanced durability
• Nitrogen charged monotube construction for consistent damping and performance
• PTFE lined spherical bearings and application-specific mounting hardware for smooth articulation and fitment
• Premium grade 5WT shock oil ensuring consistent damping across a wide temperature range
• 100% rebuildable and revalveable design for long-term maintenance and performance tuning

Construction & Design:

ICON’s 2.5 Series shocks are crafted from high-grade 6061 aircraft aluminum, CNC machined for precision and strength. The one-piece impact extruded aluminum cylinders provide excellent corrosion resistance, ensuring longevity even in harsh environments. The shock shaft is induction hardened and chrome plated to resist wear and maintain smooth operation under heavy loads.

The unique internal “Bump Zone” manifold, positioned just below the shock’s top cap, enhances damping force by 20% during high-velocity compression, preventing harsh bottom-outs and improving suspension control. The remote reservoir design not only increases fluid capacity but also improves heat dissipation, reducing shock fade during prolonged off-road or heavy-duty use.

Installation & Fitment:

These shocks are designed as direct replacements for the front suspension of Ram 3500 models from 2013 through 2022 and Ram 2500 models from 2014 through 2022, including Big Horn, Laramie, Laramie Limited, Laramie Longhorn, Limited, Lone Star, Outdoorsman, Power Wagon, SLT, and Tradesman trims. Installation requires no modifications and utilizes application-specific mounting hardware for a precise fit. Professional installation is recommended to ensure optimal performance and safety.
