Overview:

The aFe Power Pro Series Rear Differential Cover is engineered to provide superior protection and enhanced cooling for the rear differential of your Dodge Ram 2500 or 3500 from 2003 to 2005. Designed for truck owners who demand durability and performance, this differential cover replaces the factory unit with a robust, high-capacity solution that safeguards your axle’s internal components under heavy-duty conditions. Its advanced design not only strengthens the differential housing but also improves heat dissipation, helping to extend the life of your differential fluid and internal gears.

Whether you use your Ram for towing, hauling, or off-road adventures, this differential cover offers peace of mind by combining rugged construction with practical features that maintain optimal differential performance.

Key Features:

Built with performance and reliability in mind, the aFe Power Pro Series Rear Differential Cover includes several key features that set it apart from standard covers:

• Constructed from durable die-cast A380 aluminum for maximum strength and corrosion resistance
• Reinforced ribs and wrinkle black powder-coating with machined fins for enhanced structural integrity and aggressive styling
• Increased lube capacity of approximately 5 quarts, compared to the factory’s 4 quarts, allowing better fluid circulation and cooling
• Built-in internal and external fins that efficiently transfer heat from the differential fluid to the surrounding air, reducing operating temperatures
• Deep reach magnetic drain and fill plugs that capture metal particles and contaminants, protecting internal components from wear
• Large pre-installed oil level sight glass calibrated to factory fluid levels to prevent overfilling and simplify maintenance checks
• Includes an O-ring for a leak-free seal and all necessary mounting hardware for a straightforward installation
• Compatible with Ford 12-10.25 and 10.50 axles, specifically fitting AA14-10.5 axle configurations

Construction & Design:

The Pro Series differential cover is crafted from premium die-cast A380 aluminum, a material known for its excellent strength-to-weight ratio and resistance to corrosion. The cover’s design incorporates reinforced ribs that add rigidity and durability, ensuring it can withstand harsh road and off-road conditions without deforming or cracking.

Its wrinkle black powder-coated finish not only provides a tough protective layer against environmental damage but also delivers a sleek, aggressive look that complements the rugged appearance of your Dodge Ram. Machined fins on the exterior enhance heat dissipation, while internal fins promote fluid movement, both working together to maintain optimal operating temperatures for your differential.

Installation & Fitment:

Installation of the aFe Power Pro Series Rear Differential Cover is straightforward and designed to be a direct bolt-on replacement for the factory cover on 2003–2005 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 models. The package includes all necessary hardware and an O-ring to ensure a secure, leak-free fit. No modifications to the axle or vehicle are required, making it an ideal upgrade for owners seeking enhanced protection and performance without complicated installation procedures.
