Overview

The Fleece Performance Reman Cummins Cylinder Head Street HD is a premium replacement designed specifically for Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks equipped with 5.9L and 6.7L Cummins diesel engines from 2007 through 2018. Manufactured in Fleece’s state-of-the-art cylinder head machine shop, this Freedom Series cylinder head is remanufactured to meet or exceed factory specifications, ensuring reliable performance and durability. Ideal for daily drivers and heavy-duty towing applications, these heads are built to handle power levels up to 700 horsepower, making them a solid upgrade for enthusiasts and professionals alike.

Each cylinder head undergoes rigorous inspection, pressure testing, decking, and painting before shipment, guaranteeing a ready-to-install component that minimizes downtime. The design incorporates enhancements that address common issues such as coolant leaks and valve seat wear, providing peace of mind and long-term reliability.

Key Features

This Heavy Duty Street cylinder head from Fleece Performance includes several advanced features engineered to improve durability and performance:

• 11 screw-in freeze plugs to eliminate coolant leaks under the valve cover
• Hardened, oversized press-in valve seats for enhanced wear resistance
• Fleece heavy duty 105# valve springs for improved valve control under high load
• Fleece tool steel retainers designed for strength and longevity
• New valve guide liners to ensure precise valve movement and reduce wear
• Fully remanufactured and pressure tested to meet or exceed OEM standards
• Painted finish for corrosion resistance and professional appearance

Construction & Design

The cylinder head is expertly remanufactured using premium materials and precision machining processes. Hardened valve seats are oversized and press-fitted to withstand the rigors of high-performance diesel operation. The inclusion of heavy-duty valve springs and tool steel retainers ensures valve stability and durability under demanding conditions such as towing and extended highway driving. The 11 screw-in freeze plugs provide a secure seal against coolant leaks, a common failure point in stock heads. Each head is decked flat and pressure tested to guarantee a perfect seal and optimal engine performance.

Installation & Fitment

This cylinder head is designed for direct fitment on 2007–2018 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks with 5.9L and 6.7L Cummins diesel engines. Installation should be performed by an experienced technician to ensure proper valve lash adjustment and to avoid damage. It is critical to back off adjusters on rocker arms during installation to prevent cylinder head damage. The head gasket is not included; Fleece Performance recommends using Mahle part #54774 or Cummins part #4932210 for best results.

Core and crate return is required with all paperwork and instructions provided. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs of the core. Following all installation instructions is essential for optimal performance and longevity.
