Overview:

The Manley Performance Platinum Series piston set is engineered specifically for Chrysler 5.7L HEMI engines featuring a 3.917-inch bore and a 90.9mm stock stroke. These high-quality forged pistons are designed to deliver exceptional strength and durability for performance enthusiasts and professional engine builders alike.

Whether you are building a high-output street engine or a reliable race motor, this piston set provides the foundation for improved power and long-lasting reliability. The 9.3cc dome design optimizes combustion efficiency and compression characteristics tailored to the 5.7L HEMI platform.

Key Features:

Manley’s Platinum Series pistons incorporate advanced materials and design features to ensure superior performance and durability:

• Forged from premium 2618 aluminum alloy for excellent strength and fatigue resistance under high-stress conditions.
• Proven cam and barrel skirt profiles reduce friction and wear, enhancing engine efficiency and longevity.
• Tool steel wrist pins provide robust connection between piston and connecting rod, ensuring durability during high RPM operation.
• Moly skirt coatings on select part numbers reduce friction and improve piston ring seal for better performance.
• 9.3cc dome piston design optimizes combustion chamber shape for improved power and efficiency.
• Precisely machined to maintain tight tolerances and ensure consistent fitment in the 5.7L HEMI block.
• Compatible with stock 90.9mm stroke crankshafts, maintaining factory stroke specifications.

Construction & Design:

The pistons are crafted from 2618 alloy, a high-strength aluminum alloy known for its excellent thermal stability and fatigue resistance. This material choice allows the pistons to withstand the extreme temperatures and pressures found in high-performance HEMI engines.

Manley’s attention to detail is evident in the skirt design, which features cam and barrel profiles optimized to reduce friction and wear. The inclusion of moly skirt coatings on select models further enhances durability and reduces piston-to-cylinder wall friction.

Each piston is equipped with a tool steel wrist pin, ensuring a secure and durable connection to the connecting rod. The 9.3cc dome shape is engineered to improve combustion efficiency and support higher compression ratios, making these pistons ideal for performance builds.

Installation & Fitment:

This piston set is designed as a direct replacement for Chrysler 5.7L HEMI engines with a 3.917-inch bore and 90.9mm stock stroke. The pistons are precision-machined to OEM specifications, ensuring proper fitment without the need for modifications.

Installation requires standard engine assembly procedures. No special machining or tuning beyond typical rebuild practices is necessary when using these pistons in compatible engines.
