Construction & Design:

These pistons are forged from premium 2618 aluminum alloy, a material favored in high-performance engines for its superior strength and ability to withstand extreme heat and pressure. The design incorporates carefully engineered cam and barrel skirt profiles that reduce piston slap and friction, improving engine efficiency and longevity.

The tool steel wrist pins provide a robust and durable connection between the piston and connecting rod, ensuring reliable operation even under high RPM and load conditions. Additionally, the molybdenum skirt coating on select pistons reduces wear and friction, contributing to smoother piston movement and enhanced durability.

The -11.5cc dish shape is specifically designed to optimize combustion chamber volume in Chrysler’s 6.1L HEMI engines, helping to achieve the desired compression ratio for performance tuning and power gains.

Installation & Fitment:

This piston set is designed as a direct replacement for Chrysler 6.1L HEMI engines, ensuring proper fitment and compatibility with factory components. Installation should be performed by experienced engine builders or technicians familiar with high-performance engine assembly to ensure correct clearances and tolerances.

No modifications to the engine block or connecting rods are typically required when installing these pistons, but professional machining and balancing are recommended to achieve optimal results.
