Overview:

The Manley Performance Platinum Series piston set is engineered specifically for the Chrysler 6.4L HEMI engine, featuring a 4.090-inch bore and 3.724-inch stroke with an 11:1 compression ratio. These high-quality forged pistons are designed to deliver exceptional strength and durability for enthusiasts and professional engine builders seeking reliable performance upgrades.

Whether you are building a high-performance street engine or a race-ready powerplant, this piston set provides the durability and precision required to handle increased power levels and demanding conditions. You’ll benefit from improved combustion efficiency and long-lasting reliability, making these pistons an excellent foundation for your engine build.

Key Features:

Manley’s Platinum Series pistons incorporate advanced materials and design features to ensure superior performance and longevity:

• Constructed from 2618 alloy forgings, known for excellent strength and fatigue resistance under high stress.
• Proven cam and barrel skirt profiles reduce friction and wear for enhanced durability and efficiency.
• Equipped with tool steel wrist pins for maximum strength and precise fitment.
• Moly skirt coatings on select part numbers reduce friction and improve piston-to-cylinder wall interaction.
• 1.75cc dome design optimizes combustion chamber shape for improved compression and power delivery.
• Precision machining ensures exact bore and stroke compatibility with the Chrysler 6.4L HEMI engine specifications.
• Designed to withstand high-performance applications, including forced induction and naturally aspirated builds.

Construction & Design:

The pistons are forged from premium 2618 aluminum alloy, which offers superior toughness and thermal stability compared to standard cast pistons. This material choice helps the pistons endure the extreme temperatures and pressures found in high-output engines.

The cam and barrel skirt profiles have been carefully developed to minimize friction and wear, contributing to smoother engine operation and longer service life. Additionally, the moly skirt coating on select pistons further reduces friction, enhancing durability and efficiency.

Each piston features a tool steel wrist pin, providing a robust connection between the piston and connecting rod. The 1.75cc dome shape is optimized for the 11:1 compression ratio, improving combustion efficiency and power output without compromising reliability.

Installation & Fitment:

This piston set is designed as a direct fit for Chrysler 6.4L HEMI engines with a 4.090-inch bore and 3.724-inch stroke. It is intended for professional engine builders and experienced enthusiasts who are assembling or upgrading their engines.

Proper machining and assembly practices are required to ensure optimal fitment and performance. These pistons are compatible with existing engine components designed for the specified bore and stroke dimensions.
