Construction & Design

The RS9000XL shocks feature a rugged tri-tube construction that enhances durability and heat management during demanding driving conditions. This design helps prevent shock fade by allowing better fluid flow and heat dissipation compared to traditional twin-tube shocks. The shocks are filled with a specially formulated all-weather fluid that maintains consistent damping performance whether you’re driving in freezing cold or scorching heat.

Rancho’s dual-component 2K paint finish not only provides a sleek appearance but also protects the shock body from chips, scratches, and corrosion, ensuring long-term reliability. The integrated bottom mounts are engineered to withstand the stresses of off-road use, providing a secure and stable connection to your Jeep’s suspension system.

Installation & Fitment

The Rancho RS9000XL shocks are designed as a direct replacement for the rear shocks on 1993–1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee models, requiring no modifications for installation. They fit both stock and lifted suspensions, making them a versatile upgrade option. Installation can typically be completed with basic hand tools and moderate mechanical experience. For optimal performance, it is recommended to replace shocks in pairs and follow the vehicle manufacturer’s torque specifications.
