What to Know Before You Buy
6.1L SRT8 Only
Big brake kits for the 2005-2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee are available only for the 6.1L SRT8. Non-SRT8 WK Grand Cherokees (3.7L V6, 4.7L V8, 5.7L Hemi) use a different brake layout and do not have dedicated big brake kits in our catalog.
Wheel Size Requirements
The Brembo GT 8-Piston kit uses 15" (380mm) rotors. Verify wheel clearance with your specific wheels. The SRT8 typically came with 20" wheels.
Front-Only Upgrade
This kit is front-only. Brembo does not offer a dedicated rear big brake kit for the WK Grand Cherokee SRT8. The front upgrade delivers the biggest improvement.
Brake Fluid & Bedding
Flush brake fluid when installing. Follow the bedding procedure for optimal performance. These vehicles are 15+ years old; ensure the rest of the brake system is in good condition.
Brembo GT 8-Piston Front Big Brake Kit
The Brembo GT 8-Piston Front Big Brake Kit is the only big brake upgrade available for the 2006-2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee 6.1L SRT8. Eight-piston monoblock calipers with 380mm (15") two-piece rotors deliver excellent stopping power and heat dissipation. Available in Black, Silver, or Red with Drilled, T1 Slotted, or T3 Slotted rotors.
The WK Grand Cherokee SRT8 has limited aftermarket brake support. Brembo’s GT Systems is the definitive upgrade for owners who want to improve on the factory 4-piston Brembos. Ideal for street and occasional track use.
