What to Know Before You Buy

All Three Fit All RWD Trims

The 2015-2024 Chrysler 300 is offered in 3.6L V6 and 5.7L Hemi only (no SRT8). All three coilovers — KSport, ST XA, and KW V2 — fit every RWD trim. AWD 300 owners have no coilover options from these brands; see lowering springs for AWD.

No EDC on 2015+ 300

Unlike the Charger, the 2015-2024 Chrysler 300 does not use factory electronic adaptive damping. All three coilovers replace the factory struts and shocks directly. No EDC delete modules required.

Installation & Alignment

Full coilover installation replaces struts and springs. Professional install is recommended. Budget for a four-wheel alignment after installation to preserve tire wear and handling.

Coilovers vs. Lowering Springs

Coilovers offer adjustable height and often damping. If you prefer a fixed drop at lower cost, see our lowering springs guide for the 300.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to replace my factory shocks when installing coilovers?

No. Coilovers replace both the spring and the shock as a single unit. You remove the factory strut assembly and install the coilover in its place. No separate shock replacement is needed.

Will coilovers void my factory warranty?

Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a dealer cannot void your entire warranty for installing aftermarket parts. However, claims related to suspension components may be denied.

I have an AWD 300. Do any of these fit?

No. KSport, ST XA, and KW V2 are RWD only. For AWD 300 lowering, see our lowering springs guide or the BC Racing BR coilovers (AWD-specific, separate product).

Should I get coilovers or lowering springs?

Coilovers give you adjustable height and often damping. Lowering springs offer a fixed drop at lower cost. For the 300, we have a lowering springs comparison if you prefer that route.

What's the difference between ST XA and KW V2?

Both are KW-family products. ST XA is built by KW with 16-click rebound and galvanized struts. KW V2 has stainless Inox-Line construction and costs about twice as much. For 2015-2024 300, both fit all RWD trims.
